Campaign Introduction

Seers from various corners of the Chaos Wastes, whether cloistered within the darkened halls of Chaos cults, dwelling among nomadic tribes or gathered around a herdstone, independently witness visions of a dark prophecy unfolding. Each seer, driven by their own interpretations and agenda, speak in cryptic and sometimes contradictory terms to all who will listen. Despite the diversity of cultures and factions, the clear conclusion of the visions point to a champion ascending to the mantle of Demon Prince through the acquisition of ancient relics scattered in the Chaos Wastes. The vague promise of these visions appeals to only the most reckless and independent of would be champions. Unable to sway tribal lords, they take their small retinues across the wastes, on what to some appears to be a desperate fools errand.

This campaign follows the normal Mordheim campaign rules except for the following which can be found in the campaign pack:
Each warband leader is looking for relics that are prophesized to enable the wielder to ascend to the rank of demon prince. Your warband leader will consult a seer for clues before going to battle. This is represented by each player randomly picking a card from the Seers' Visions deck before a scenario. The card will outline objectives, which you will know before setup and deployment. If you complete the objectives, the player can 'search for a relic' by opening a Treasure Envelope or taking a relic off your opponent. Return the Seers' Visions cards back to the deck, but keep the contents of the Treasure Envelope for future games.

Shown below are the Seers' Visions and Treasure Envelopes respectively. They will be kept in the Mordheim terrain box at the club.
