The dead warriors lay silent. Crows picking at their bodies. Vildread looked at them with amusement. These pitiful men, killing eachother in a manner that lacked any finesse. The adherent of Shornaal looked to her seer.
"Does the serpent whisper to you? Dead bodies are not as fun as living ones."
"My lady, the vision was clear. Follow the river until it ran red, then dance with the goats that stand on their hind legs."
Vildread looked into the distance. She could see some beastmen picking over a corpse. They did not look like they belonged to either side of the battle.
"Looks like our dance partners have arrived" Vildread said decidedly pleased.
Overview
Two warbands have arrived at the aftermath of a battle to pillage the dead. Take as much from the corpses until one warband is encouraged to leave.
Setup and Deployment
Since each warband is following different visions, the scene of the battle can vary. Setup terrain as a ruined town on the edge of the wastes or barren desert or any other theme.
Alternate setup of 6+d3 corpse markers on a 4'x4' board. They must be 8" or more from the board edge and each other corpse marker.
Rolloff for deployment and setup on opposite board edges, within 6" of the edge.
Corpse Marker
Whenever a warband member with a BS of more than 0 ends movement on a Corpse Marker, remove the marker from play, and roll on the table below:
Ending the Game
The warband that routs loses. If all markers have been removed from play, a warband may choose to voluntary rout without minimum rout restrictions.
Rewards
The remaining Corpse Markers at the end of the game have nothing further of value. However the winning warband stumbles across a previously unseen corpse. Add 1 suit of heavy armour to their stash.
Experience
+1 Winning Leader. The leader of the winning warband gets +1 Experience.
+1 Per Enemy or Fallen Marauder Out of Action. Any Hero earns +1 Experience for each enemy he puts out of action.
+1 Surviving. Any Hero or henchman survives the scenario they get +1 Experience.
